Still more from the London tour with the parents... We went into the Tour of London and caught some great shots of the bridge from inside the walls. Tower Bridge -- not London Bridge as many non-Londoners think -- has stood over the River Thames in London since 1894 and is one of the most recognisable bridges in the World. It spans over 800 feet and is quite impressive, having sunk 2 massive piers containing over 70,000 tons of concrete into the river for support and taking over 8 years to complete.
