Taller than any land animal at 16-18 feet, the giraffe has one of the best views of the Masai Mara reserve. The Masai or Kilimanjaro giraffe (above) can be found in central and southern Kenya and Tanzania, and is distinguished by jagged-edged, vine-leaf shaped spots of dark chocolate on a yellowish background. Weighing up to 2000 pounds, a Giraffe can eat 140 pounds (63 kg) of leaves and twigs daily.
